Newsletter August 26

Hello dear friends!

Last week marked the start of the final term of the school year. We kicked things off with a parents' day dedicated to discussing the children's progress. This involved one-on-one meetings between parents and their respective teachers. It also provided an opportunity for parents to give us feedback on their satisfaction with the school and suggest areas for improvement. We were, of course, delighted that the feedback from parents was very positive. We were also pleased to welcome a new student; we now have a total of 13 students.
There is also good news regarding the construction of our kitchen building. We have received three quotes so far and are currently evaluating them. Please join us in praying that we make a wise decision. We have also already received the first of the two required building permits, and the second should follow in the coming days.

This is what our new kitchen building is set to look like.

Looking ahead:
In the coming weeks, our main focus will be on the start of construction. Everything should get underway by mid-September at the latest. We also want to finally make progress on Marco’s work permit; we are still missing a few documents for this, and we would appreciate your prayers in this regard as well.

Thank you:
As always, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports us and our work—whether through prayer, donations, or practical assistance. Our work here in Kenya is only possible thanks to you.
Would you like to support us and our work, or do you have any questions, suggestions, or comments? Please feel free to get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you!

Yours truly

Marco, Joy and Luana
