Newsletter September 25

Hello dear friends!

The night before last, after an eight-hour flight, we landed safely back in Kenya and arrived home shortly before midnight.
We look back on the last few weeks in Germany with gratitude. One of the highlights was having the opportunity to present our work in Marco's home village. We were delighted to welcome well over 50 guests to the event.

We had the opportunity to present our work in Marco's home village.

We were also delighted that more than €1,000 in donations were collected that afternoon. These funds will go entirely toward the construction of the planned daycare center. And we have some great news to report:
Last week, we received the building permit for the project. We have also chosen a construction company that will carry out the construction of the daycare center. Preparations are currently underway on our property for the groundbreaking ceremony, which is scheduled to take place very soon. We will inform you about this again in a separate email.

Outlook:
In the coming weeks, our main focus will be on the construction of the daycare center. Most of the funding has already been secured, and we plan to raise the remaining €10,000 through a campaign that is currently being prepared.
However, there are other tasks related to the opening of the daycare center that await us: We need to write a concept that will be approved by the relevant authorities. We also need to hire a teacher. We would appreciate your prayers for wisdom in this matter. Thank you very much!

Thank you:
Once again, we would like to conclude by thanking everyone who supports us and our work through donations, prayers, or practical assistance. It is only through you that our work here in Kenya is possible. Thank you very much!
Would you also like to support us and our work, or do you have any questions, suggestions, or similar? Please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!

Yours truly

Marco, Joy and Luana
