Newsletter August 25

Hello dear friends! 

It has now been three weeks since we arrived in Germany. Since then, we have been traveling a lot and have already been able to meet many of you in person. We are always very happy about that. Thank you for the many encouraging conversations, the valuable exchanges, and the kind words. There are two more dates in September, which means two more opportunities to meet us.
On September 7, we will be at the Christus-für-alle-Kirche in Bielefeld starting at 10:00 a.m., and on September 21, we will be at the village community center in Mandelbachtal Habkirchen starting at 3:00 p.m. We are very much looking forward to more wonderful encounters with you!
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, we had to postpone our visit to Berlin, which was announced in our last newsletter. We will come to Berlin the next time we are in Germany.
 
News about the daycare center
The construction contract for the daycare center has now been put out to tender and several bids have already been received. These are currently being reviewed and renegotiated, and then we will commission a construction company in the coming weeks. Please pray for wisdom and God's guidance for us in this matter.

In order to begin construction, we also need a building permit. We should receive this shortly. However, we are dependent on the authorities and have very limited influence on the situation. We would appreciate your prayers in this matter. We hope that construction can begin this month. We will, of course, keep you informed of further developments.
