Newsletter May 26

Hello dear friends!

We spent a lot of time traveling around Germany in May. We look back with gratitude on the past few weeks, which were filled with wonderful and enriching encounters.

We’ve been on the go a lot over the past few weeks.

Our daycare center/school in Kenya reopened in early May. We’re very pleased to see that everything is running smoothly even when we’re not there. But of course, we stay in regular contact with the local staff. We’re especially happy to have welcomed a new student who has been attending first grade at our facility since the start of the second term.
In addition, our staff on the ground continue to work on implementing the guidelines from the Ministry of Education. For example, the bars that are otherwise standard on windows in Kenya have been removed from some windows so that they can also serve as emergency exits. Other measures related to fire safety and first aid have also been implemented. The biggest challenge in this regard remains the construction of a separate kitchen building with a dining hall, which we must build for fire safety reasons. The campaign to raise the remaining 15,000 euros is making good progress. Thanks to you, we have already raised more than 8,000 euros. So we’ve already reached over half of our goal. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already contributed—to ensure planning certainty, it would be great if we could reach the remaining amount by the end of June. That would allow us to begin preparations for construction. Thank you so much for your support!

Outlook:
We will be in Germany for the entire month of June. We will, of course, use this time to present our work at additional meetings. Please feel free to pray with us for meaningful encounters on. Thank you very much!

Thank You:
We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone who supports us and our work through prayer, donations, or practical assistance. Thank you so much!
Would you like to support us and our work, or do you have questions, suggestions, or anything else? Please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
