Newsletter April 25
Hello dear friends!
Thank you very much for the many encouraging messages we received in response to our last newsletter, in which we reported on the latest developments in Kenya regarding the admission of orphans and foster children. We are still in contact with the relevant authorities. Unfortunately, the exact requirements that we have to fulfill in order to be allowed to take in foster children have still not been specified.
As far as the establishment of an educational facility on our property is concerned, we still need a final signature, which we should receive shortly, according to reports. The next step will then be to set up an organization that will act as the provider of all school facilities. We are currently working on this.
We also had a food distribution this week. We worked together with the authorities in our new home region for the first time.
This week we were able to distribute more food parcels.
The social worker in charge emphasized once again how helpful it is that the food parcels are coming right now. "The people here in the region are very poor. They can use the money they now save from the food to pay their school fees. Thank you very much!" This distribution campaign was only possible because of your donations last December. Thank you very much for your support.
We are coming to Germany:
We will be back in Germany for a few weeks in August and September. Of course, we would like to visit communities again this time to present our work and report on their progress. If you would like to invite us to your community, please get in touch with us.
Thank you:
Once again, a big thank you to everyone who supports us through donations, prayers or in a very practical way. Our work here in Kenya is only possible thanks to you.
Would you also like to support us and our work or do you have any questions, suggestions or similar? Please get in touch with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
Yours truly
Marco, Joy and Luana
